Harald Svensen
managing Partner

Harald Svensen grew up in Sydney with Norwegian parents, enjoying both Australian and Norwegian traditions as well as a love of the outdoors and sports. After studying commercial shipping, Harald started trading fuel oil at Sumitomo Sydney. It was a relationship natured business, and it started Harald’s journey into the world of B2B oil and maritime trading. Harald has over 30 years of commercial oil and maritime experience. This experience includes 15 years in Singapore for the B+H ship owning group, where he ran the commercial chartering contracts for a fleet of 20 tankers, in his role as MD for Product Transport Spore. He has oil and bunker trading experience as well as tanker broking in various centres around the world, including Sydney, Melbourne, Oslo, Singapore, Dubai and Trondheim.

These years of doing business around the globe have allowed Harald to build an extensive network in the maritime and energy sector at senior management level, as well as nurturing a love for deal making and contract risk assessment, all whilst building long-lasting friendships.

Harald is passionate and outgoing, and values long term relationships over short term gain. Harald is now based in Trondheim and his aim is to assist in connecting companies from Trondheim with international markets, primarily east of the Suez.
